Soon following the arrest and custodial interrogation of Anand Subramanian by CBI officers, observers from the investor community informed the Sprout’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) about it being a cover up operation to hide the real culprits behind the NSE scam.
NSE MULTI CRORE SCAM
The investor community cited that it was unlikely that a scam of such dimensions would be the handiwork of one person. They voiced their fears that both nodal agencies, namely SEBI and CBI have compromised the faith of the investor and trader community.
Making a circumstantial pitch our SIT was informed that this could possibly be a big syndicate that comprised people wrested with political power as well as those working in the nodal offices. Markets too have become apprehensive as this might throw up lack of confidence among the investing community.
